NESS Super has appointed Paul Cahill as its chief executive officer, effective early 2018.

Previously, he spent 16 years as the CEO of the Australian Meat Industry Superannuation Trust (AMIST).

Commenting on Cahill's appointment. NESS Super chair, Tony Glossop, said: "After going through an exhaustive process where there were some remarkable candidates, we could not go past Paul's vast experience in the superannuation sector. Whilst we have been saddened by the departure of Angie, we are delighted to have such a capable person in Paul to lead the Fund into the future."

Cahill added: "I am excited to work with a Fund such as NESS Super where there are wonderful opportunities for the future. I am looking forward to developing the fund to ensure that NESS Super is a success now and into the future."
