NAB appoints Canadian banking specialist to run business, private banking
NAB has appointed Andrew Irvine as their new head of business and private banking.
Irvine has been with BMO Financial Group for more than 12 years, the last year as head of Canadian business banking. He started in 2008 as vice president of Salesforce effectiveness, focussing on customer loyalty. He held roles in digital and physical channels.
"Andrew is an experienced banker and talented leader who will play a crucial role focussed on NAB's strategic pillars of delivering for our customers and colleagues," said NAB CEO Ross McEwan.
Before joining BMO, Irvine held roles at management consultancy McKinsey & Company and a business development position at search engine Lycos.
"I'm excited to be joining NAB and to be leading Business & Private Banking, which at its core is all about supporting its customers and the broader economy," said Irvine. "I look forward to working with my colleagues at NAB to grow these foundations as we help our customers through the impacts of COVID-19 and out the other side."
