Morphic co-founder Chad Slater has joined Drummond Knight Asset Management, a newly-founded organisation created by Lindsay Taylor, formerly of hedge fund Point72 Asset Management.

Drummond Knight was registered in early 2020.

Slater has been on gardening leave since departing Ellerston Capital last October. He spent several months as the co-head of global equities after Ellerston bought a stake in Morphic, the business he co-founded with Jack Lowenstein in 2012.

During his career, Slater has held global investment roles including as an analyst with Putnam Investments in Boston and portfolio manager with Hunter Hall in London. Domestically he spent several years as an investment analyst with BT Investment Management and started his career as a graduate policy analyst for the Australian Federal Treasury.
