MLC Wealth appoints General Manager, Distribution for asset management business

MLC Wealth has announced the appointment of Mandy Mannix as general manager, distribution for MLC's asset management business, effective 23 September 2019.

Mannix joins MLC from BMO Global Asset Management in the UK, where she was head of client management (EMEA) with responsibility for client service, distribution and marketing across retail, wholesale and institutional clients. Before this, she was global head of sales and marketing at asset management firm CQS UK and has also held senior roles at Lehman Brothers/Nomura and Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (now BlackRock) in Australia and London.

In her new Melbourne-based role, Mannix will be responsible for asset management's distribution and client service activities globally and will report to Garry Mulcahy who is transitioning to the position of group executive, asset management.

Commenting on Mannix's appointment, Mulcahy said: "Mandy is a highly respected global investment industry executive who will provide deep knowledge of industry trends, client needs and products to our business."
