MLC Wealth has announced the appointment of Andrew Morgan as both chief corporate services officer and chief financial officer, effective 16 September 2019.

Morgan joins MLC Wealth from CBA, where he has served as CFO wealth management since 2015. His appointment comes as MLC Wealth continues to prepare for separation from NAB Group.

In welcoming Morgan to MLC Wealth's leadership team, chief executive officer Geoff Lloyd said: "Andrew is a highly respected executive with over 25 years' experience in the global financial services industry. His extensive background in transformation, divestments, and delivering significant, long-term value-creation programs will be critical as we continue to strengthen MLC ahead of separation from NAB."

He added: "Andrew will bring fresh insight and significant expertise to our business as we continue to assemble a high calibre team to lead MLC into a new era."

Morgan's appointment follows the recent appointments of Anthony Lane as chief operating officer, Garry Mulcahy as group executive, asset management, and Tim Steele as group executive, retirement & investment solutions. All three will commence in their new roles next month.

Three positions are still to be filled on the ten-strong MLC Wealth team.
