MLC advice chief to lead fintech

MLC's group executive for advice Geoff Rogers has left the organisation after nearly two years in the role. He's set to become the head of Australia for intelliflo, a fintech that aims to streamline the financial advice process.

Rogers spent more than nine years with MLC including as group executive and general manager for MLC sales. He has held several senior roles during his 30 years in the industry, including as GM of financial planning with NAB and CEO of Advance MLC.

The value of financial advice has become more apparent in the pandemic, said intelliflow CEO Nick Eatock, and the adoption of technology by both advisers and clients helps the industry thrive. "Geoff is an important addition to our global business and his extensive experience and expertise will further strengthen our capabilities to support Australian financial advisers with the most advanced open architecture solutions to grow their businesses."

Rogers said he's excited for the challenge. "I am truly excited to join intelliflo and build the business in Australia. intelliflo's growth comes at an exciting time for the industry given the level of technology adoption we have seen across the industry."

The company currently supports more than 30,000 global financial advisers who represent 3 million end-investors with $900 billion USD under advice.
