Milestone appoints MD

Milestone Group has appointed a managing director for APAC.

Marian Azer has joined the organisation from RBC where she held the dual product and operational roles as well as being managing director and head of APAC.

"We've created this role as a key element of our refreshed global strategy," said Milestone CEO Paul Roberts, "which puts additional weight and attention not he APAC markets, with Australia and New Zealand being a focus."

Azer will be responsible for market engagement, client success, and the organisation's go-to-market strategy.

Before her time at RBC, Azer was an executive director and head of product at J.P. Morgan and a Principal at Mercer.

"I have watched Milestone Group grow and evolve over the years and have always been impressed by the way it thinks differently to solve the challenges our industry faces," said Azer. "I see a real opportunity to add value at a time when asset owners, managers and servicers are seeking fresh ideas and approaches. I am personally delighted to be leading that effort," she said.
