Metrics Credit Partners appoints Independent Chair

Australian debt-specialist fund manager, Metrics Credit Partners (MCP), has announced the appointment of Allan Griffiths as a director and independent chair of MCP, effective 30 September 2017.

Griffiths has more than 30 years' experience in the financial services industry and is currently a director with IOOF and CARE Australia, and is the chair of Westpac Life Insurance Services, St George Life, Westpac General Insurance and Westpac Lenders Mortgage Insurance Services.

Previously, Griffiths held a number of executive positions, including as CEO of Aviva Australia and later as managing director of South Asia Aviva.

Commenting on his appointment at MCP, managing partner, Andrew Lockhart, said: "We are pleased to welcome Mr Griffiths to our board, and expect his deep understanding of the financial services industry will add immense value to our business."
