MetLife expands retail sales team

MetLife Australia has announced the appointment of Marcus Chan, sales manager for New South Wales, as one of four new appointments to the firm's retail sales team following the launch of MetLife Protect.

Chan, who has 10 years' industry experience, joins MetLife from BT Financial Group where he worked as a business development manager.

The other new appointees are:

Aaron Nugent, also from BT Financial Group, as sales manager for Queensland;
Patrick Murphy, from AMP, as sales manager for Western Australia and South Australia; and
Stephen Nyabadza, from CommInsure, as sales manager for Victoria.

Matt Lippiatt, head of retail sales, said of the expanded team: "We want every single adviser who works with us to have a one-on-one relationship with somebody at MetLife who cares for them and whom they trust to deliver great outcomes for their clients.
