MTAA Super and Tasplan will have a new chief of governance, risk, and compliance. Amy Ward, currently legal counsel and company secretary for MTAA Super, will take on the position.
Ward joined MTAA Super in 2018 from AvSuper, where she spent more than nine years in a variety of roles including executive manager for governance and risk.
Ward has a legal education and holds a bachelor of laws from UNSW.
"We are excited about the future," said MTAA/Tasplan designate CEO Leeanne Turner. "This merger will allow us to provide the personal customer service benefits of a smaller fund while harnessing the benefits of scale a larger fund can bring."
Current Tasplan chief risk officer Greg Hanigan will depart the organisation.
