Mercer has appointed Emily O'Brien as chief financial officer for the Pacific region. She replaces David McKeown, who left the organisation in late March after nearly a dozen years.
O'Brien was most recently the GM of commercial and structured finance with Australian Unity. She previously held group finance roles with investment companies and real estate managers including Vicinity Centres and Macquarie Group where she worked on financial statements and taxation calculations. O'Brien started her career with EY and spent more than five years in audit and transaction services.
O'Brien's appointment was announced internally in February and she commenced in March.
