McKeown departs Mercer
David McKeown, who has been the chief financial officer for the organisation's Pacific region operations for the last three years - and has nearly a dozen years of experience with the organisation - has stepped down from his role.
A spokesperson for the organisation confirmed McKeown's departure, noting that they've appointed former Australian Unity commercial and structured finance general manager Emily O'Brien as his replacement.
McKeown has significant experience across the financial services sector, having held roles across the superannuation, life insurance, and funds management sectors. He previously was the finance strategy manager for Aviva Australia and held accounting and transition management roles with BlackRock. This was McKeown's second time with Mercer, having started his career with the organisation as an investment accountant in the late 1990s.
McKeown has not indicated what his next role will be.
