MaxCap Group appoints Investment Director QLD

Commercial real estate debt manager, MaxCap Group, has announced the appointment of Michael Nitschke to the role of investment director - QLD.

Nitschke has more than 18 years' Australian real estate finance experience, including senior roles at Bank of Queensland as national manager of property finance and at Deutsche Bank as co-head of real estate debt.

In his new role, commencing January 2019, Nitschke will report to Eddie Law, MaxCap's regional investment director for NSW, ACT & QLD.

Commenting on his appointment, Law said: "Michael has extensive industry experience and a successful track record in the Queensland market. His deep market knowledge and broad network, will be key to our Queensland expansion."

MaxCap added that since January 2018 the team "has grown by more than 60 percent with further recruitment activity underway." Recent hires include Ben Klein as private capital director, based in Melbourne and Joe O'Dwyer as senior executive - investment, based in Sydney.
