Maple-Brown Abbott Global Listed Infrastructure has hired CBA's senior manager for ESG and sustainability, Georgia Hall, as their first ESG analyst.
"ESG has always played an important role in the MBA GLI investment process and Georgia's appointment will allow us to further expand our capabilities, reflecting the importance we believe that ESG factors have in long-dated assets like infrastructure," said MBA GLI co-founder and managing director Andrew Maple-Brown.
"Georgia will be working to enhance the MBA GLI investment process across our research team, increase our company engagement, manage ESG reporting and further develop ESG insights."
Hall has more than a decade of experience in financial services, having held roles at AMP Capital, Ironbark Asset Management, Wellington Management, and Schroders.
The appointment follows the news that Emma Pringle has joined Maple-Brown Abbott as head of ESG as a maternity leave cover.
