Management shuffle at Generation Life
Generation Development Group (GDG) CEO Grant Hackett will step down from his role at the end of January to assume the role of CEO and MD of Generation Life.
The move comes after the resignation of both of the current co-CEO and MDs, Lucy Foster and Catherine van der Veen.
In a statement on the ASX, the company says the resignations are due to personal circumstances.
GDG executive chairman Rob Coombe thanked the co-chairs for their service, saying they made significant contributions to Generation Life and its staff and clients in a period of high growth. "They have left us with a strong platform and pipeline of growth initiatives which Grant will continue to support in his new role."
A former Olympics swimmer and member of the Athlete's Commission, Hackett was previously GM of distribution for Generation Life and was head of priority markets with Westpac.
