Macquarie Bank managing director and chief operating officer Mary Reemst is set to retire from the organisation in mid-2021.
Reemst first joined Macquarie in 1999 following several years in senior investment banking roles at Bankers Trust. She spent more than a decade as the head of credit in the risk management group, looking after wholesale and retail exposures including lending and trading activities. In 2014, Reemst was named chief executive and managing director of Macquarie Bank.
Macquarie has announced that it has appointed group treasurer Stuart Green as Reemst's replacement, pending regulatory approvals.
