Martin Stanley, the head of Macquarie Asset Management (MAM), is set to leave the organisation following an executive shuffle.

He will be replaced by Ben Way.

Stanley first joined Macquarie in 2004, supporting the growth of the organisation's international infrastructure funds management platform. He was named the head of Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Estate in 2010, leading the expansion into new sectors and asset classes. Stanley became head of MAM in 2018.

Before his time with Macquarie, Stanley spent nearly 20 years in the utility and energy sectors across Europe.

The news was announced on the ASX however the timing of the departure is unclear. Additionally, Mary Reemst will retire as managing director and chief executive of Macquarie Bank later this year.
