LUCRF promotes Head of Investments to CIO

LUCRF Super has promoted Leigh Gavin to the role of chief investments officer. He joined the $6 billion industry fund in May 2016 as head of investments.

Prior to his appointment at LUCRF, Gavin spent 14 years at Frontier Advisors in a number of roles, including head of Australian equities, head of property and most recently as a senior consultant.

LUCRF has also announced further changes to its executive team, with Chris Deakin joining the fund in the newly-created role of executive manager of distribution; and Sarah Dennis, previously GM marketing & communications, appointed executive manager, brand & experience. The fund has also appointed Lynda Cross as a manager of advice and education.
