LUCRF appoints Executive Manager Distribution

LUCRF Super has announced the appointment of Chris Deakin as the $6 billion fund's new executive manager of distribution.

This newly-created role "will bring LUCRF Super's member and employer-facing teams together under one strategic direction" the fund said.

Deakin has experience in senior managerial roles in workplace and employer relationships, strategic partnerships and business development roles. Most recently, she was the national manager for workplace & employer super at IOOF and previously spent six years at Health Super.

Commenting on her appointment, LUCRF Super CEO, Charlie Donnelly, said: "[Chris] will be a great addition to the LUCRF Super executive team. Her skills and experience are integral to ensuring we continue to offer our members and employers the exceptional level of service that we're known for. We've been looking forward to having her on board."

LUCRF has also announced further changes to its executive team, with Leigh Gavin, who first joined the fund in 2016 as head of investments, appointed chief investments officer; and Sarah Dennis, previously GM marketing & communications, appointed executive manager, brand & experience. The fund has also appointed Lynda Cross as a manager of advice and education.
