LGS appoints commercial relationships manager

Local Government Super has appointed Clare McHenry as its first commercial relationships manager.

McHenry joins the organisation from Rest, where she held a similar role, as general manager of employer relationships.

A spokesperson for LGS told Industry Moves, "Local Government Super (LGS) is pleased to welcome Clare McHenry as the fund's Commercial Relationships Manager. In this newly created position, Clare's main focus will be on optimising outcomes from LGS' commercial relationships with key vendors. Clare brings with her a substantial background in superannuation and insurance, most recently having held roles at REST and CommInsure."

McHenry began her career in HR and recruitment roles, working for Unisys and Microsoft in Ireland before returning to Australia and transitioning into finance with Australian Administration Services.
