LGIAsuper has announced the promotion of Eleanor Noonan to the role of chief of people and culture on the fund's executive team, effective November 2017.

Noonan, who first joined the fund in 2015 as head of human resources, has experience across people leadership, change, business transformation and organisational strategy as well as operational management in a number of local government roles.

LGIAsuper has also announced that the fund is looking to appoint a new CEO, with current CEO/CIO David Todd set to focus his attention on the fund's $11 billion investment portfolio.

Commenting on the changes, LGIAsuper chair, John Smith, said: "With David focusing on investments, Ms Noonan shaping organisational culture and a new CEO to drive business growth, the Board believes LGIAsuper will be well-positioned to continue providing excellent service and consistent returns to the fund's growing 85,000-strong member base."

Todd will continue in the CEO role until the position is filled.
