Legg Mason Institutional Sales Director joins IFM Investors

IFM Investors has announced the appointment of Justin Nunan to the role of associate director in treasury services, debt investments, effective April 2018.

In this role, Nunan is responsible for a range of portfolio management duties across cash, fixed income, currency and overlay strategies.

Nunan joins from Legg Mason, where he was an institutional sales director, a role he held for six months. Previously, he spent two and a half years as an investment manager with Media Super, where he worked closely with IFM Investors to collaborate across various mandates. Prior to this, he was the head of treasury sales at ME Bank.

Commenting on Nunan's appointment at IFM Investors, APAC regional head of debt investments, Scott Barker, said: "The Treasury Services team provides a comprehensive suite of cash, currency and derivative solutions to assist our institutional client base in meeting the growing demands of their global portfolios. This latest appointment will further allow the business to maximise net returns to our investors and their underlying members."

He added: "We are delighted to be able to attract an operator of Mr. Nunan's experience."

Legg Mason is currently recruiting to replace Nunan.
