Langhammer departs Pitcher after 30 years

Michael Langhammer has departed Pitcher Partners after nearly 30 years with the organisation, most recently as executive director and partner.

Reflecting on his time with the organisation, Langhammer said the then newly-formed firm was dedicated to the middle market. "What I didn't appreciate at the time was that serving the middle market would become my calling," said Langhammer.

"30 years later I am leaving Pitcher Partners, immensely proud of the Firm's achievements, it's standing, and steadfast commitment to its founding principals.

"Thank you to my fellow Partners for allowing me the opportunity to champion so many initiatives that have been so stimulating and rewarding, and have contributed to making a difference.

"To Pitcher Partners staff, present and past, including our exceptional alumni (who have brought me so much joy), thank you all for your support and friendship. The Pitcher Partners family is indeed a special one. I wish everyone at Pitcher Partners every success for the future."

Langhammer has created his own middle-market consultancy, Langhammer & Associates, and said, "I now look forward to the excitement of exploring new ways to continue to contribute and serve our middle market."
