Date: July 2021
Position: Chair

Vision Super chair Geoff Lake has stepped down at the end of his three-year term atop the industry super fund's board. He will remain on the board as a non-executive director.

Lake is replaced by Lisa Darmanin, who has been deputy chair for the last three years.

"It was a great privilege to serve as the Chair of a Fund that truly puts the best interests of members at the centre of all we do," said Lake. "Lisa has been a great support to me as Chair; the Board unanimously endorsed her taking over as Chair and it is very reassuring to be able to finish my term knowing that the leadership of the Board is in very capable hands."

Lake has been on the Vision Super board since 2009. He was deputy chair from 2014-2018. He has also been a Councillor for the City of Monash since 2000 and served as Mayor from 2002-2004 and again in 2014. Lake was nominated to the Vision Super board by the Municipal Association of Victoria, which he was president of from 2004-2006, leaving in 2018.
