Aware Super trustee director Rosemary Kelly has left the organisation's board. Her move comes at the conclusion of her third term with the fund.

"Rosemary has been an invaluable member of the Board," said Aware Super chair Neil Cochrane. "We've benefited greatly from her experience and acumen, and she departs with our sincere gratitude."

Kelly said it has been her pleasure to sit on the board for the last nine years, including time on the Investment Committee. She was recently chair of that committee, a responsibility that will now go to Philip Moffitt. "It's been very satisfying seeing the fund lift assets under management significantly and delivering great returns for members while increasingly focusing on environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors in investment decisions.

"At the same time, the Fund has used the benefits of scale to reduce member fees and increase its capacity to invest across different asset classes and take opportunities as they arise. It's a great privilege to have been on the Board during such a period of progress for the Fund."

Kelly was nominated to the board by the Health Services Union and is currently the assistant secretary of the Medical Scientists Association of Victora and Secretary of the Victorian Psychologists Association.
