Kellett departs IOOF dealer group following acquisition and restructure

Geoff Kellett left IOOF in late October following more than two years as the chief executive officer for the organisation's Financial Services Partners dealer group. He'd been with IOOF for nearly 10 years.

"[It has] been an amazing ride to be part of a business that has grown substantially over that period to become one of the leading wealth managers in the country," Kellett wrote on his LinkedIn. "I've been given some amazing opportunities at IOOF including growing a fantastic sales team, transforming the adviser services capability, and guiding the Financial Services Partners licensee through its transition from ANZ and helping its network navigate through the toughest of climates."

Kellett started in the role following IOOF's acquisition of ANZ's aligned dealer group business in 2018. He previously spent nearly eight years as a division director for Macquarie's wealth management operations and was a private client adviser for ANZ.

"As always it's the people you work with that make it all worthwhile and I've been fortunate to make some amazing friends both within IOOF and across the industry. Thanks to all those who have accepted my leadership with enthusiasm, advisers that have been so great to partner with and colleagues who have supported me along the way."

Kellett says he'll be enjoying the summer months with family and will be looking to new opportunities in the new year.
