Janus Henderson names new operations head

Janus Henderson Investors has announced the appointment of Donna Crawford as head of operations for Australia.

Based in Melbourne, Crawford will oversee the day-to-day operational aspects of the investment teams, with responsibility for investment and operational due diligence, product governance, and regulatory change initiatives.

In welcoming her to the team, Matt Gaden, head of Australia, said: "We are delighted to have Donna join the business. Her knowledge and depth of experience encompasses all facets of operations, including client relationships, staff development, technology development, data management and governance. Donna's appointment will place our clients at the centre of operational excellence and be a significant asset to our growing business in Australia."

Crawford joins from Vanguard Investments Australia, where she has spent the past three years managing the new business and performance analysis teams. Before that, she was joint head of operations for Perennial Investment Partners up until its acquisition by Henderson Global Investors (now Janus Henderson) in 2016.
