Janus Henderson expands Australian Fixed Interest Team

Janus Henderson Investors (Janus Henderson) has announced the promotion of Dimitri Diamand to the role of analyst and dealer within the firm's Australian fixed interest team (Team).

Diamand, who joined Janus Henderson in 2013, was most recently a portfolio risk associate within the firm's investment risk team.

Jay Sivapalan, co-head of the Australian fixed interest team, said of Diamand's promotion: "Dimitri has been held in high regard by various teams within the organisation and his contribution has been recognised over this period. Dimitri also brings with him strong academic credentials in Actuarial Studies gained at the Australian National University."

In addition, Shan Kwee, formerly a credit strategist within the Team, has been appointed co-portfolio manager of credit strategies including the Diversified Credit and Cash Enhanced Funds.

Matt Gaden, Janus Henderson's head of Australia, said that the promotions "acknowledge the talent within the company" and now bring the number of investment professionals in the Team to eight.
