JANA names new Chair

JANA Investment Advisers has announced the appointment of Fiona Dunn as the firm's new chair and successor to long-serving incumbent, and former CEO, Ken Marshman.

Dunn has over 30 years' investment and corporate experience, including six years as general manager of funds management at Australian Unity. She joined the JANA board in 2017 and is an independent member of the JANA Platform Investment Committee.

JANA said the decision to elect her as chair "rests in her deep industry knowledge and her strong familiarity with the JANA operating model."

Marshman added: "I am sure she will lead the Board well and will provide enormous support to the management team at JANA to ensure its success long into the future."

Dunn will be joined by John Coombe who is re-joining the board as an executive director.
