IRESS names Head of Institutional Broking & Online

Financial technology provider, IRESS, has announced that George Vidinis has been appointed head of institutional broking & online.

Vidinis, who has held a number of roles since joining IRESS in 2014, was most recently the firm's key account manager. Before IRESS, he held product management and broking roles at FP Markets.

Commenting on his appointment, Kirsty Gross, IRESS' managing director of financial markets for Australia and New Zealand, said: "Over the past four and a half years [George] has proven himself to be an emerging leader within our organisation, with an ability to think innovatively and a deep knowledge of the industry."

She added: "I'm confident under George's leadership we're well positioned to continue to support our clients."

Vidinis replaces Adrian Fyffe, who has moved to Chi-X Australia as a business development executive.
