IOOF appoints Head of Adviser Standards, Client Care and Retention

IOOF has announced the appointment of Mark Horton Andrews to the newly-created role of head of adviser standards, client care and retention, effective 15 January 2018.

Horton Andrews was previously the executive manager of investments at Australian Unity, a role he left in May 2017 after 10 years with the firm. Prior to that, he worked at Aviva Australia.

Commenting on his appointment, Frank Lombardo, IOOF's group general manager, client & process, said: "We are pleased to have attracted someone of Mark's calibre given his strong track record in financial services and passion for quality advice."

Horton Andrews will be based in the firm's Melbourne office.
