AMANDA NOBLE
Insignia Financial Ltd - Chief Risk Officer
APPOINTMENT
INSIGNIA FINANCIAL LTD
Date: July 2019
Position: Chief Risk Officer

IOOF has announced the appointment of Amanda Noble to the firm's executive leadership team as chief risk officer, effective immediately.

The new-look role, which IOOF said has been reshaped to combine all financial and non-financial risk and compliance functions, will report directly to newly-appointed chief executive officer Renato Mota.

Commenting on Noble's appointment, Mota said: "Amanda is an accomplished executive with a deep understanding of governance and risk, who has delivered results in senior risk management positions in major Australian financial institutions.

"In addition, Amanda was Managing Director of The Data Institute, the member association focused on improving data governance and ethical use of artificial intelligence. We look forward to benefitting from Amanda's expertise in this space as we explore the use of data and technology in governance."

Noble has more than 25 years' experience in financial services and wealth management risk and compliance, holding senior executive roles at Westpac, ANZ, National Australia Bank and KPMG. She has served as acting chief risk officer at IOOF since May 2019.

Her permanent appointment is the first since Mota announced in June a review of senior management positions.

Noble replaces Ian Lancaster, who commenced a new role as CRO of ESSSuper on 1 July 2019.
