InvestSMART sees board changes

InvestSMART non-executive director Kevin Moore will resign from the organisation's board on 1 December. The move comes after Moore informed the organisation that he had accepted a directorship with an ASX-listed company that competes with InvestSMART.

Moore joined the InvestSMART board in 2017. He holds several other directorships including Now Comms Asia and Electronic Shelf Labels Australia. He was the CEO for CROSSMARK's Asia Pacific operations and was the joint managing director for The Marketing Development Group, a global sales and marketing outsourcing service.

Founded in 1999 under the name FloatNews, InvestSMART went public in 2001 and later acquired by Fairfax. It was repurchased in 2013 by founders Ron Hodge and Nigel Poole to focus on "building an information hub for investors wanting to take control of their own financial futures."
