Insync names national distribution manager

InSync Fund Management has appointed Wes Gillett, formerly of PowerWrap, as its national distribution manager.

"Our aim to bring a senior seasoned and highly regarded operator across distribution, combined with The Emerging International Equities Manager of the Year, and Wes' own desire to secure the right role in the right firm near the peak of his career, is indeed fortunate."

Gillett departed PowerWrap after more than two years with the organisation. He was dismissed along with the bulk of the organisation's sales and marketing staff prior to its acquisition by Praemium.

"Mr Gillett has had a stellar career with the skills and record of success that together we can all benefit from," said Pearson. "You don't achieve what he has over decades in distribution without trusted relationships and the knowhow required for success."

A seasoned sales pro, Gillett was previously the head of distribution and marketing at HUB24, and joined Powerwrap just over two years ago. He's also held senior sales roles with KPMG, FuturePlus Financial Solutions, and spent more than a decade with Asgard Wealth Solutions.
