InPayTech director departs

InPayTech director Sandra Barns has stepped back from her position on the organisation's board.

In a statement, executive chair Don Sharp noted that Barns' other commitments will limit her ability to meet her obligations as a director. "The Board would sincerely like to thank Sandra for her services over the last year assisting it to implement a new strategy commencing with the acquisition of TipsGo, various capital raisings and with the Comply Path acquisition. We wish her every success in her future endeavours."

Barns was until recently the GM of technology and information security with ISPT and previously was the chief technology officer with VicSuper. She's also held senior risk and technology roles with AustralianSuper, NAB, and Goldman Sachs.

Emma Dobson has been named as Barns' successor on the InPayTech board.
