Specialist healthcare property funds manager Centuria Heathley has added infrastructure investment expert Rod Owen-Jones to their team as a portfolio manager. He will look after the company's national portfolio of 48 healthcare properties, valued at $650 million.
Owen-Jones comes from AMP Capital, where he has been looking after healthcare, office, and industrial real estate since 2004. Most recently, he was the investment manager for infrastructure, specifically looking at aged care and healthcare.
Centuria Heathley MD Andrew Hemming said that their growing pipeline of property acquisitions has driven the need for additional asset management resources. "Our acquisition pipeline remains strong, and the expansion of the asset management team means we have appropriate capabilities to manage our growing national portfolio. Rod brings considerable asset management capabilities and a specialist aged care skillset which will complement the existing team."
Centuria Heathley is a subsidiary of Centuria Captial Group.
