Industry veteran joins VFMC board

Victorian Funds Management Corporation (VFMC) has announced the appointment of Fiona Trafford-Walker to its board as a non-executive director.

In welcoming her to the role, VFMC chair, James MacKenzie, said: "This appointment further deepens the investment management expertise and experience on the VFMC Board. In particular, Ms Trafford-Walker brings broad asset consulting and industry experience."

Trafford-Walker is an investment director at Frontier Advisors, having been its inaugural managing director for over ten years and then director of consulting for nearly six years.

She also serves as a non-executive director with Link Administration Holdings Ltd and Prospa Advance Pty Ltd, and sits on the investment committee of the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute.

She will commence with VFMC on 28 August 2018.
