IFM Investors co-head of listed equities Neil Carter is leaving the fund after eight years to pursue interests outside of funds management.
Carter confirmed the news on his LinkedIn, saying "Thanks to everyone at IFM Investors for a fantastic 8.5 years and for the clients who entrusted us with their members money. It has been a privilege."
A spokesperson for the IFM said that Aidan Puddy, formerly co-head along with Carter, will be sole global head of listed equities.
"Thanks also to the many friends I have made among the corporates, brokers and broader investment community," said Carter. "It's been a blast. Will take a short break then it will be time for something new."
Before joining IFM Investors more than eight years ago, Carter was a divisional director at Macquarie Group, was the London-based director of media research at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., and the founder and director of Rutherglen Capital.
