IFM Investors loses Nicki Ashton to Pendal

IFM Investors' Australian head of the Global Relationship Group, Nicki Ashton, has left the organisation. She has taken a role with Pendal, as head of institutional.

A spokesperson for IFM confirmed her departure and says she leaves with the organisation's best wishes.

Ashton joined IFM just over one year ago from Russel Investments where she was a director and head of strategic partnerships. She's held equities roles with BNP Paribas and Citigroup Australia.

A spokesperson for Pendal confirmed Ashton's appointment and says she'll report to the head of distribution at Pendal Australia, Tim North Ash. "Nicki will be responsible for leading our distribution and client service effort in the Australian institutional market, joining our highly regarded and deeply experienced institutional team. Nicki starts with us on November 9, 2020."

The IFM Global Relationship Group team will report to Valentina Abbott, the global head of the group until a replacement is found.
