IFM appoints Global Co-Head of Listed Equities

A spokesperson for IFM Investors (IFM) has confirmed to Industry Moves the appointment of Aidan Puddy as co-head of listed equities, following a restructure of the firm's equities team, as reported in AFR's Street Talk.

He will share the role with IFM's former head of active equities, Neil Carter, and together they will lead a team of 27 investment professionals.

Puddy joined IFM in 2005, and was most recently the firm's global head of indexed and quantitative equities. Prior to joining IFM, he worked at INVESCO where he managed Australian and overseas indexed products, as well as quantitative products, balanced products and the unit pricing area. Previously, he worked at Merrill Lynch Investment Management and the Myer Family Office.
