Hillross MD leaves dealer group for Mortgage Choice

Dean Thomas is leaving Hillross, an AMP advice dealer group, to help Mortgage Choice expand their advice offerings.

With Hillross, Thomas looked after the day-to-day management and strategic direction of the dealer group, which had 140 advice firms and 300 advisers.

Thomas will be chief advice officer for Mortgage Choice.

CEO Susan Mitchell says that financial planning is a vital part of Mortgage Choice's future. "Dean's experience in strategic direction and business transformation will play a vital role in leading our financial planning division."

Before joining AMP and Hillross, Thomas had experience at NAB, BT, and St. George.
