HESTA names Australian equities investment manager

Chris Lye has joined HESTA as an investment manager. She'll be responsible for the fund's Australian equities and liquid alternatives.

Lye has been with IFM Investors as a senior associate for the last year, integrating responsible investing factors across the equities asset class and working with the equities team on ESG product development.

Before her time with IFM, Lye was a senior investment analyst at LUCRF Super until a restructuring of the fund's investment operations in late 2019. She previously spent more than 14 years in a variety of analyst roles with The Gandel Group including treasuries, listed, and direct investments.

Lye started in her role at the end of March. A spokesperson for the fund told Industry Moves, "Chris brings strong investment and superannuation experience to HESTA through her previous roles at IFM Investors, LUCRF and The Gandel Group."
