HESTA appoints investment data, tech GM

HESTA has appointed Feroz Jordan as general manager for investment data and systems.

Jordan joins the organisation from SS&C Bluedoor, which provides integrated wealth management platforms. He held several positions over more than eight years with the organisation, including chief product officer and head of product and technology.

HESTA COO Stephen Reilly said the appointment would help the industry fund build strong systems and framework to deliver quality data to their internal investment team. "Robust technology and data systems underpin HESTA's continued focus on delivering strong, long-term investment performance for our members.

"Feroz has deep knowledge of superannuation products and experience in delivering strategic information technology projects for the financial services sector," said Reilly.

Said Jordan, "I'm looking forward to joining HESTA at such an exciting time as the Fund continues developing its investment operations architecture to ensure we're well-positioned to continue making a real difference to the financial future of every member."

Before joining SS&C, Jordan was a vice president at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in the UK. He also spent time in the aviation industry, holding technical positions with Amadeus and Air New Zealand.
