Hennessy joins U Ethical client services team

David Hennessy has joined U Ethical Investors as a client services manager.

He comes from Bennelong Funds Management where he held a senior client experience role. He held similar roles with IFM Investors, OpenMarkets, and Vanguard. In his native Ireland, Hennessy held banking administration roles with Invesco and was a transfer agent with State Street.

In his new role, Hennessy will work with clients to ensure their needs and expectations are met through the entire investment journey. "From my first meeting with David, I could tell he has a natural and instinctive ability to listen to, understand and connect with client needs in what has been an uncertain environment for many investors of late," said U Ethical distribution director David Brennan.

"Working alongside our relationship managers, David will help synthesise and strengthen our service offering to valued wholesale and retail clients."

Hennessy said he was drawn to the fund by its ethics. "I was drawn to U Ethical as it is a pioneer in ethical investing in Australia and offered me the opportunity to make a positive impact.

"I look forward to developing our service offering to existing and future clients and continuing to demonstrate that ethical investing does not require sacrificing product choice, investment returns, or service."
