Head of Investment Operations departs QSuper

A spokesperson for QSuper has confirmed the departure of head of investment operations, Matthew Heeney.

Heeney joined the now-$80 billion fund in January 2016, having previously spent six and a half years as a consultant adviser to super funds and institutional fund managers at Mercer Sentinel.

In a statement, QSuper said that following Heeney's departure, the fund is "going through the normal business and recruitment processes [followed] when any role is vacant within the group."
