Hammond joins Northcape

Northcape Capital has appointed Wendy Hammond as senior manager of client development.

In her new role, Hammond will be responsible for growing the $12 billion boutique fund manager's institutional client base. She will work alongside Northcape client director Katie Orsini, who said, "We are delighted to welcome Wendy, who will further support Northcape's growth plans. She is highly regarded in the industry and brings a wealth of knowledge of clients within the superannuation, not-for-profit and insurance sectors, which will allow us to continue to build on our success."

Hammond said has always held Northcape in high regard. In her view, their multi-pm approach and strong collegiate culture makes them stand out.

Hammond comes from JANA where she spent the last decade in client development and strategy roles. She previously spent time with MLC as a product development and policy analyst.
