GSFM BDM joins Channel Capital

Channel Capital has appointed Sam Mirls as its new distribution director for Queensland.

Mirls spent the last two years with GSFM in Sydney and held fixed income and investment advice roles with FIIG Securities and Wilsons.

His new role will return Mirls to his native Brisbane. "Sam's appointment is a continuation of our commitment to invest in long-term relationships with Queensland clients and to meet the increased demand we are seeing across our private and public asset classes," said Channel Capital head of distribution Andrew King. "As the growth of our investment offering continues, we aim to attract high quality talent to support the needs of our clients. We're very excited to have Sam as part of the team."

Channel Capital provides services to eight investment management firms with associated assets of more than $18 billion as of 30 June 2021.
