GQG adds director of business development from Vanguard
GQG Partners has appointed former Vanguard Investments retail distribution specialist Ashneel Naidu to the newly-created role of director of business development. He will report to GQG director of wholesale markets Daniel Bullock.
"Ash has considerable experience and expertise building relationships with the local wholesale market," said Bullock. "He'll be a key point of contact with, and support for, our network of wholesale asset consultants, national licensees, private banks, and independent wealth firms."
Naidu previously held business development roles for Westpac Private Bank and Macquarie Bank.
Bullock says growth in the market has necessitated additional personnel. "Our business has grown significantly in the Australian market since first launching here in 2018, and we continue to see strong interest in our global equities and emerging markets capabilities which have performed strongly despite the turmoil of the markets in 2020."
GQG Partners is an independent US-based boutique equities manager founded in 2016. The Sydney office was established in 2018, its first outside the US.
