Govender joins BUSSQ as executive manager of operations

BUSSQ has appointed Trevor Govender as executive manager of operations, product, and finance.

Govender started in the role in February, leaving IQ Group where he had spent the last 18 months as as principal consultant to the superannuation and wealth management industries. Govender previously spent nearly 13 years with Sunsuper in a variety of roles including head of information management and head of customer service.

BUSSQ CEO Damian Wills told Industry Moves that they're excited to welcome Govender to the team. "This senior appointment brings considerable industry experience and positions BUSSQ well to further improve our overall service proposition to our members."

Govender mirrored Wills' comments, saying, "I am thrilled to be joining the BUSSQ team and look forward to working with a fund who pride themselves on their services culture, and who continue to build better outcomes and experiences for their members!"

Govender started his career with Citistreet Australia as a senior business analyst. He commenced with BUSSQ in February of this year.
