APPOINTMENT
FUTURE FUND MANAGEMENT AGENCY
Date: June 2018
Position: Head of Debt

The Future Fund has announced the appointment of Craig Dandurand, former director of debt and alternatives, to the new role of head of debt.

The appointment is one of five new roles created for existing senior investment team members, as part of a restructure following the recent departure of head of property, Barry Brakey, and the appointment of two deputy chief investment officers, David George and Wendy Norris, in March 2018.

According to the Fund, the new structure is designed to "maintain the organisation's significant asset class expertise while providing additional scope for collaboration across teams and sectors."

Dandurand, who first joined the Fund as director of debt and alternatives in February 2014, previously spent 13 years as portfolio manager of absolute return assets at the California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS) in Sacramento.

The other investment team changes include Stewart Tillyard moving from director of property to head of unlisted property, James Fraser-Smith moving from director of infrastructure and timberland to head of unlisted infrastructure and timberlands, Sarah Carne moving from director of equities to head of listed tangible assets, and Ben Samild moving from director of debt and alternatives to head of alternatives.
